The main target of the warranty data analyst is to report the warranty status from all customer to the top management.

Main activities

• Regular monitoring and download of supplier warranty data from the customer portals
• Report of current warranty quality costs to the top-management
• Create quality cost forecast based on given data
• Analyze warranty data for outliers and irregularities and clarify those with the customer
• Compare real versus planned key performance indicators, e.g. warranty costs, layer line diagrams, supplier cash-backs
• Initiate and track counter measures in case of target deviations
• Match data of parts under analysis from customer portal to internal claim and analysis (CAC) data

Competences

• Full competences to perform the above defined tasks.

Skills

• Advanced Excel skills, e.g. Pivot tables
• Programming of scripts in Python is beneficial
• Knowledge of following quality standards: IATF 16949, VDA Schadteilanalyse Feld, GS 95004
• Language skills: English, German
