We are looking for an

Credit Analyst - Spanish speaking

in Budapest.

Scope of the job

The Credit Analyst will be responsible for appraising the credit risk of new and existing customers. Specifically they will acquire and review financial data for customers, using market information and data provided by specialist credit agencies, through the internet, and direct from the customer whilst working with representatives from the business as appropriate. This information will be analysed to assess the credit worthiness of customers and to assign a risk rating as outlined by the Credit Policy.

Key responsibilities

• Review of customer data and the preparation of credit recommendations, especially for new accounts where information may be scarce
• Working on quarterly reporting of credit exposures for the BP group and other ad hoc duties as required from time to time
• Compliance with quarterly reporting deadlines for Credit Standard and input to monthly Key Performance Indicators for the team
• Development of existing appraisal, monitoring and reporting procedures to support the recently implemented BP Credit Standard
• Solution of blocked orders of the customers when there are two parts involved (business/logistics/customer/banks/AR)

Requirements

• Fluent English and Spanish knowledge
• Previous Credit analyst experience - credit management background gained in banking, financial services
• Able to produce consistently high quality information within tight deadlines
