Accounts Payable Team Leader

Tasks

  • Follows up on all escalated issues until they are solved to the end
  • Escalates exceptional events to a higher level
  • Guarantees that all relevant financial transactions are processed accurately, on time
  • Identifies procedural inefficiencies
  • Delivers suggestions for procedural changes
  • Liaises with establishments, internal and external support departments
  • Steers a team of accounting staff in order to achieve set operational Targets by coaching, motivating, communicating on day-to-day tasks
  • Participates in staff recruitment
  • Determines training requirements and follows up the plan
  • Conducts process related trainings
  • Holds weekly one-to-one meetings
  • Monitors staff production and productivity
  • Monitors quality of staff’s actions

Requirements

  • College/university degree
  • 3 years experience in AP or AR or similar field
  • Thorough understanding of AP and AR processes
  • 1 year of experience in a coordinator/people manager role
  • Knowledge of MS Excel
  • Fluent English
  • Experience in SSC sector is a plus
