German Speaking Group Reporting Team Leader

The Finance Function at our partner fulfils three key activities: 

  • Report financial and operational results, both internally and externally, with independence and integrity.
  • Support business performance management and planning processes by using consistent data collection and reporting processes.
  • Integrate financial and commercial processes to enable end to end optimization. 
Finance also supports the development of annual and long-term plans, strategies and performance management processes as well as provides economic analysis and Group Investment Assurance and Approval Process (GIAAP) support for business opportunities, investments and other specific projects as needed.

As the leader of the group reporting team your responsibilities will include:
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and review of statutory accounts for assigned responsibilities, entities and fields
  • Ensure full reconciliations from ledgers to statutory accounts and corporate reporting
  • Timely response to queries raised on accounts and other analyses
  • Reporting and control activities to assure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Preparation of draft statutory accounts, documents, queries and quality control checklists
  • Ongoing alignment and support for statutory reporting and related departments
  • Full responsibility for data collection, preparation of statistics and reports
  • Preparation and compiling of files and documents
  • Ensure all queries are responded to on a timely basis
  • Ensure meet obligations under the Balance Sheet Integrity standard, and prepare ledger reconciliations on a timely and accurate basis
  • Alignment of tax-related accounts in preparation for tax declarations
  • University Degree (Economics, Finance, Business Administration) or High School Graduation in Economics
  • 3+ years of experience in accountancy in multinational environment
  • 2+ years of experience in people management/Team Leader position in relevant SSC field or similar
  • Active, high level German AND English speaking skills
  • Personality: assertive and clear communicator, team player and manager
  • Attitude: business-, customer- and solution-focused
  • Ability to manage heavy workload, complex situations and changing requirements
