Land Assistant

Basic Role Description:

  • Support Upstream Commercial, Land Administration activities for USP and IOL including operational excellence, process enhancements, migrations
  • Leverage Land expertise and skills to enhance the value of Imperial Oil’s Land Assets
  • Represent Imperial Oil with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity

Key Responsibilities / Interfaces:

  • Monitor incoming file management request and track them till completion
  • Ensure accurate and prompt registration of all customer requests
  • Action and respond to requests within the prescribed timeframe
  • Make and keep accurate and complete records of business activities including emails
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of data used and entered to the systems
  • Gather, collect, record, track and verify data and information from multiple sources
  • Provide other support as requested by Upstream Commercial Management
  • Support the process of setting up newly acquired agreements, administering the process of terminating agreements, updating the Land Records and Document Repository systems
  • Supporting the process of all administrative work related to AFE and Mail Ballot tracking, handling, processing and furtherance of all OBO (Operated by others) AFE’s and Mail Ballots and communicating with the Joint Interest Canada team as well as Canada Land and JV analysts.

Controls Responsibilities (including CIMS, OIMS & IT System Ownership):

  • Comply with all policies, procedures, firewalls restrictions & IFRs, and Control Catalogues
  • Ensure all activities conform to applicable laws and regulations
  • Manage proprietary, confidential and sensitive information
