Sales Engineer (construction/building industry)


  • Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for:
  • generating specification and management of specification to order, across all relevant construction sector in Hungary
  • cultivate relationship with Architecture and Engineering Community by offering a unique material, performing accredited presentations, sustainable practices, and havening an active role in specification of facade materials
  • follow up the projects with key influencers; insure that sales is done according to specification
  • managing an establish base of key and development account customers
  • Additional key responsibilities include:
  • achieve set volume/price and identified sales target through specification selling
  • establish and maintain contact and promote materials and service to potential customers
  • leads management
  • active role in local marketing support for promoting our materials
  • provide basic technical support for our materials to partners. Job sites visits, capacity to follow the
  • develop business via existing customer base, and, also new customer base
  • have the ability to research existing and new markets, to identify business opportunities and the potential for products and process innovation
  • maintain close liaison with Customer Service in order to manage the sales are effectively
  • regularly review personal progress and keep abreast of technical, marketing and sales techniques.
  • assist at exhibition, conferences, presentations and other functions required


  • bachelor degree, preferably Architect or Engineering background
  • relevant professional experience (min 3 years) in sales field at construction/building industry
  • fluent English
  • excellent communication, presentation and networking skills
  • analytic approach, with a strong analytical skill set
  • ambitions, with a strong desire to success
  • openness and good understanding of sales process
  • project management
  • goal oriented, needs to be focused and achieve targets
  • strong selling, organizing and influencing skills
