Liferay is looking for a marketing professional who will generate sales demand and build brand awareness for Liferay products and solutions for the markets within the CEE Europe, with a higher focus in Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia as primary territories. Liferay needs a hands-on marketing specialist who is thrilled by the opportunity to join a world-class digital company bursting at the seams and help us continue to expand our presence in these territories.
This position reports to European Marketing Manager and will work in coordination with him and Liferay’s global marketing team. It will also involve close collaboration with the local sales team to build and drive marketing initiatives.
We are looking for a passionate person with an strong work ethic who is able to propose and design new initiatives as well as to execute them personally when necessary.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing key strategies and programs to generate demand and build brand awareness for Liferay products and solutions. The candidate must possess strong project management, coordination, collaboration, and excellent communication skills. The individual will work closely with other members of the marketing and sales team in CEE, and he/she will be also involved with other teams in Europe and US to build and drive marketing initiatives.
Increase the MQL (marketing qualified leads) in more than a 30% creating integrated lead generation campaigns (at least three campaigns per calendar year) – 55%
Comprehensive campaign plan development, included measurable goals
A-to-Z campaign execution from start to tracking to reporting
In the context / support of above campaigns; development and execution of a content marketing strategy for general and specific target audiences.
1. Strong capacity to generate, with few input, relevant PR and content marketing pieces (e.g. blogs , whitepapers, press releases) according to criteria of usability and SEO. In particular, it is needed to demonstrate a strong capacity in generate new marketing materials about business solutions based on Digital Marketing, Portal Platforms, User Experience, Open Source, Web content management, web document management, Collaboration, Social Networks and Mobile technologies.

Leverage of digital and automation marketing tools, social media and social advertising – 30%
Actively build and maintain practical expertise about Digital Marketing included Website (Liferay.com), Automation Tools (Hubspot), Salesforce, and Social Media
Execute events (e.g. Liferay Events, Industry Events) – 20%
In coordination with the rest of the marketing team, plan and execute Liferay presence at local industry events
Coordinate logistics, order event material, track cost, onsite coordination and assistance
Create reports incl. analysis & proposals for improvements, execute follow up strategy
Skills & Requirements
The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing professional with B2B program-level experience, in software or another technology sector.
More than 10 years of proven and measurable experience in developing and coordinating traditional and new media-based B2B marketing programs including web marketing and strategic design of website content, online advertising, events and other lead generation vehicles.
Strong knowledge and experience in B2B lead to sales process and buying stages.
BS in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or Economics, or comparable education/experience.
Fully comfortable working in English both written and spoken. Some of your teammates will be in the Americas, Asia or Europe.
Understanding of email programs, internet technologies, interactive marketing, print, and corresponding success factors. Proven experience selecting and working with agencies and freelancers.
Ability to create email programs and content marketing campaigns as well as to generate leads through Marketing Automation Software such as Eloqua, Hubspot or Marketo. Ability to analyse results and make ongoing decisions based on them.
Excellent oral presentation, written communications, and sales interaction skills are a must.
Ability to work independently across varying marketing initiatives, working with local and overseas teams, sometimes across functional areas, as necessary.
Self-starter, quick learner, self-motivated, proactive beyond your duty.
Extremely oriented to business goals. Ability to meet deadlines and work within a collaborative team environment
Structured, logical thinking even when working under tight timeframes.Excellent attention to detail.
The position requires intermittent travel within region and 1- 3 trips overseas annually.
Currently living or willing/able to relocate to Budapest.
Additionally the following characteristics will be positively evaluated:
Knowledge of the CRM and customer experience market.
Proficient with Excel, design programs and HTML content creation.
Experience with Google Adwords Campaigns or equivalent (Google AdWords Certified (GAP) Professional).
Passion for internet and marketing online.
Passion for Open Source Technologies.
Understanding of the web and mobile market needs
Experience managing social networks (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook)
Knowledge of events management tools (Eventbrite, Boomset ...)
