Application Administrator (REF3301U)

Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and administration/IT operations of Microsoft Windows Server (2012-2022) / Azure Infrastructure Services (File, Print, Terminal, Cluster Services, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WVD, Azure AD, etc.)
  • Implementation and administration/IT operations of Microsoft 365 technologies (Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams including Phone System, Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Office 365 ATP, Conditional Access, Universal Print, Data Loss Prevention, Multi-Factor Authentication, Privileged Identity Management, Windows Virtual Desktop, etc.)
  • Automation and standardization of workflows using appropriate scripts (PowerShell)
  • Optimization of existing processes and tools for managing multi-tenant environments
  • Integration of new customers into existing operational processes
  • Participation in the preparation of decision templates and concepts
  • Development and planning of service concepts
  • Planning and execution of commissioning and operations
  • Problem and error analysis, problem resolution also in complex systems or system landscapes
  • Creation of decision templates and concepts
  • Design/implementation of supportive tools and workflows
  • Conception, initiation, and monitoring of measures to ensure service levels and customer satisfaction
  • Creation of strategic concepts for area organization
  • Participation in the further development of the portfolio

Qualifications:

  • Master's or diploma degree with adequate professional experience or comparable knowledge and skills
  • At least seven years of professional experience, with at least five years in IT administration, as well as extensive experience with Microsoft collaboration solutions in the area of Office 365 and on-premises solutions (AD, Exchange, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Extensive practical experience with Microsoft Azure & Windows Server Infrastructure Services
  • Extensive experience with IT operations and the migration of Exchange, SharePoint, AD, file server environments to Office365
  • Experience in the planning, implementation, and operation of hybrid solutions (AD, Exchange Hybrid)
  • Technical certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified Associate / Azure Administrator Associate / MCSA / MCSE
  • Strong customer-oriented, entrepreneurial thinking and action, also at the management level
  • Highly systematic and structured working style
  • High flexibility, resilience, and willingness to perform
  • Excellent presentation and moderation skills
  • Expert knowledge in the desired area of responsibility and very good knowledge of adjacent technologies
  • High level of cooperation, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent English/German language skills
