Department

This position is filled in the Tolling Services team of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary. Together with our partners, we are developing and supporting intelligent electronic tolling solutions for our international customers. We use digital intelligence for a smart service that connects Europe. Using sophisticated technology and our toll box, we are creating a new age of seamless mobility. Our aims are to further develop the currently available services, extend it to further domains and is to become the market leader and most innovative player in European toll business. You will join an international team supporting our customers by providing various components of our tolling solutions.

Main tasks

As an application administrator:

  • You are managing complex applications, including incident response and system monitoring.
  • You like it to dig deep into complex requirements and will get familiarity with CRM and Billing processes.
  • You are curious to try out new cloud technologies and tools to constantly improve and expand our wide range of know-how.
  • Be part of our AAX-application operation team that takes full operational responsibility for the services 24hx7.
  • You feel comfortable working in an international self-organized team in an agile organization and you would like to grow with us personally.

Background and required skills:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in running application in business operation.
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux, SQL, container technology, Kubernetes, and experience of operating applications in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS)
  • Good knowledge of programming languages (Python, Java script).
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues and automation of operational processes.
  • Knowledge of relevant technologies of monitoring (OpenSearch, Grafana, Prometheus Server) and database solutions (Oracle, PostgreSQL,).
  • Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, and other agile methodologies.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Quick learner with a proactive mindset, able to solve problems efficiently.
  • Team player.

Advantage:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in the following areas: Computer science, Engineering, information technology or equivalent work experience in IT
  • German language knowledge
