Cloud Solution Engineer
Tasks
Manage the complete lifecycle of a cloud-native, product-oriented application responsible for all communication and data flow between backend systems and 40,000+ global agricultural machines (e.g., harvesters, tractors).
Drive development and operations using the Microsoft Azure ecosystem (C#, Azure DevOps, Git, Bicep, ARM).
Execute full lifecycle management, including continuous development, application support, and the strategic interchange of retired services.
Enhance the platform's reach by implementing multi-region capabilities and deployments to ensure robust global scale.
Support and influence design and architecture decision processes for the integration of new machine features.
Adapt and implement the underlying Cloud Governance rule set as defined by the baseline company's IT Cloud Strategy.
Advise IT and business departments on the effective and strategic use of cloud technology.
Maintain a commitment to the continuous development of cloud skills, staying current with the relevant cloud provider's new services, best practices, and industry trends.
Requirements
Practical experience as a software developer/engineer in the areas of Microsoft Azure architectures and service-oriented IT architectures
Management / operation of CI / CD pipelines
Programming languages such as C#/.NET, PowerShell
the creation of business / IT concepts, technical specifications and architectures
DevOps engineering environment and infrastructure as code (IaC)
Tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM
Management / operation of Docker / Kubernetes clusters
Knowledge of SQL databases and No-SQL databases
Very good knowledge of English
Degree in (business) computer science, mathematics, economics or comparable training (e.g. IT specialist)
In addition to the practical experience, knowledge through appropriate certifications (e.g. Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer at Associate or Professional level)
Ability to technically lead the search for solutions in a complex IT organization with third-party providers and to make decisions
Curiosity and motivation to follow current technical trends in the cloud computing environment are a matter of course for you
