Community Manager(REF4247Q)

Task description

The Senior Community Manager Software Engineering is responsible for the community management of TSI wide role-specific community regarding Software Engineering. The task is to provide role specific content and community offerings that keep the members actively engaging and collaborating. The regular tasks include the topics listed below but the job explicitly requires to proactively define and conduct additional measures together with the community leadership teams, in order to keep the communities attractive and relevant.

Community Management tasks:

  • Organization and execution of Community calls, this including invite management, moderation and documentation.
  • Maintenance and development of Intranet/YAM-U community presence
  • Coordination and improvement of training offerings in different formats in collaboration with HR.
  • Organize and execute steering meetings with the community leadership teams

Skill Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
  • More than 3 years job experience in communication or marketing-related roles
  • Experience of managing and collaborating in virtual communities
  • Very good knowledge of collaboration tools (MS-Teams)
  • Good understanding of Software Engineering approaches, principles (DevOps, Scrum, SAFe)
  • Experience in software development project and first tool insights (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins …)
  • High level of self-motivation and proactiveness in developing new approaches
  • Good moderation  and presentation skills
  • Good team player
  • Language skills in English fluent in spoken and written, and German optional

  • Basic understanding / first insights in Software Engineering
  • Project Management skills
