Continuous Improvement Specialist
Summary of the Position:
The objective of this role is to deliver simplification and continuous improvement initiatives across functions and to foster a continuous improvement culture. The CI Specialist collaborates with crossfunctional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategies, and implement sustainable solutions to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role will support the organization’s business transformation efforts by bringing speed and simplicity to our business processes and better ways of working.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze current business processes and performance, identifying areas of potential improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste, and develop improvement strategies to address them.
- Design and implement new strategies for process improvement.
- Document processes, results and findings to maintain a history of improvement efforts.
- Facilitate problem-solving and root cause analysis workshops.
- Lead continuous improvement projects, from conception to implementation.
- Support quality management initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve quality processes, reduce defects, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Develop and deliver training programs on continuous improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques to empower employees and build capability.
- Provide coaching and support to employees and teams to enable them to effectively participate in improvement activities and drive sustainable results.
- Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements in CI methodologies.
- Prepare and present reports on progress and performance of improvement initiatives.
- Support the change management and stakeholder engagement.

Compensation:
- We offer and exceptional annual cafeteria equivalent of a 13th month salary or above

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience of 2-3 years as a Continuous Improvement Specialist or similar role with lean exposure in a manufacturing set up.
- Have an university degree, engineering degree is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
- Have knowledge and use of structured problem-solving.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
- Strong project management skills.
- Working proficiency in computer programs necessary to support data analysis, and reporting.
- High level of motivation at work and further learning and development.
- Ability to work, both independently and mixed groups.
- Ability to support all shifts and departments on Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Languages: Hungarian, Intermediate English knowledge, both orally and writing.

- Office setting with shop floor work.
- Reports to the Operational Excellence Director.
