We are looking for an experienced and results-driven DevOps Engineer who will play a key part in championing and leading infrastructure as code. As the new member of our innovative team you will be busy designing, building and migrating applications, software and services on the AWS platform, ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud, as well as maintaining and supporting our on-premises development activities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS;
  • provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined as code;
  • work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements;
  • take part in designing hybrid cloud infrastructure;
  • evolve GitOps approach and introduce it to the entire portfolio;
  • transform Docker swarm environment into Kubernetes ones;
  • build, maintain and centralize operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of on-prem and cloud infrastructure and systems;
  • troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas;
  • maintain our CI/CD pipeline, build automation and source code management systems;
  • administer and troubleshoot Linux-based on-prem systems.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

  • experience with building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, S3);
  • solid foundation of networking and Linux administration;
  • ability to learn/use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools;
  • experience with containerized systems like Docker or Kubernetes;
  • experience with deployment of CI/CD pipelines.

WE VALUE IF YOU HAVE

  • experience with CloudFormation and third-party automation approach/strategy;
  • familiarity with Backup and Disaster Recovery approach and design;
  • experience with Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, ELK and deploying applications on AWS.
