Tribe Voice & Messaging is responsible for the design, development, planning, validation, and operation of all voice and messaging platforms within DT Technik’s fixed and mobile networks throughout their entire lifecycle. We provide innovative and reliable state-of-the-art services to our customers. 

As a Squad we are responsible for and operate the Platform C.SIP.G and its SBCs for Enterprise customers. The Corporate SIP Germany product is designed to transfer telecommunications traffic via the SIP protocol from a private IP VPN into public telecommunications networks (national/international landlines, mobile networks, IP networks) and to be able to terminate services and traffic from the public telecommunications networks into the corresponding IP VPN.

As a DevOps Engineer in this Squad your tasks will be the following:

• Automatization and optimization of SIPMap and COPT tools, as well as the support of the Order Form automatization project
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve system reliability and operational efficiency
• Manage and optimize cloud and/or on-premise infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools)
• Collaborate closely with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of applications and services
• Maintain technical documentation and support continuous improvement of DevOps processes and best practices

Requirements

• Practical experience in scripting and automation, preferably using Python
• Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and day-to-day system operations
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and common DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Basic experience with container technologies such as Docker; familiarity with Kubernetes is an advantage
• Experience with configuration management or Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform, or similar)
• General understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, VLAN/VXLAN concepts)
• Experience using monitoring and logging tools to support stable and reliable operations
• Ability to troubleshoot issues independently, collaborate with other teams, and document solutions
• German language skill required, English nice-to-have
• Experience in Agile work environment
