Manage and oversee the daily operations of the canteen
Collaborate with the team to design and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of employees, including special dietary requirements
Cooperate with key stakeholders and suppliers to ensure the availability and quality of food products
Plan and organize schedules, events, and catering for occasions and meetings
Take responsibility for ensuring all food service complies with health, safety, and local food regulations
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
Manage stock levels, orders, and deliveries
Ensure the canteen environment is clean, safe, and welcoming, meeting health and safety standards at all times
Promote the canteen’s food offers through internal channels and events, collaborating with marketing to highlight seasonal or special promotions
Our partner, who is operating in facility management is looking for an experienced Food Service Manager to serve their client at Nyíregyháza.
2-3 years of experience in food service, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role within a cafeteria, canteen, or similar environment
Experience in planning balanced and cost-effective menus, ordering supplies, and managing inventory to minimize waste
Experience in monitoring food costs, labor budgets, and meeting financial targets for the canteen
Good, active written and verbal English and Hungarian skills
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
