FPI Intern

Paramount Budapest, Budapest, Hungary (Hybrid) 

We are looking for a motivated Process Improvement Intern to join our Financial Process Improvement (FPI) team. This role offers a great opportunity to work with automation tools, support controllership processes, and contribute to efficiency improvements across financial operations. 

Key Responsibilities 

As a valued team member, you will: 

•  Plan and build simple automations using VBA, Alteryx, Python, SAP GUI scripts, and other tools 
• Monitor and execute automations developed by the FPI team 
• Debug and troubleshoot automation issues as a top priority 
• Support the Controllership team with Excel macro development and script maintenance 
• Document automations and process improvements in line with FPI manager requirements 
• Participate in online and onsite trainings/conferences based on manager instructions 
• Perform administrative tasks related to systems owned by the FPI team 
• Provide regular updates on your tasks to FPI leads 

Qualifications 

We are looking for someone with: 

•  Ongoing BSc/MSc studies in Finance, Accounting, IT, Business, or a related field 
• A proactive and analytical mindset for process improvement 
• Basic programming knowledge in VBA, Python, or similar tools (experience is a plus) 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
• Solid English communication skills, both spoken and written (B1 level or above) 
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) 
• A team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently when needed
