Are you a procurement expert with a passion for travel and global operations? Our partner is seeking a Global Travel Procurement Lead to take ownership of their worldwide travel spend and supplier relationships. In this strategic role, you’ll shape the global travel programme, lead key tenders, and ensure consistent policy compliance while supporting thousands of employees across the globe.

Feladatok

 

  • Managing our global travel budget and vendor partnerships
  • Leading RFP processes for a new Travel Management Company and Global Meetings & Events provider
  • Developing and enforcing a consistent, company-wide travel policy
  • Overseeing travel admin teams and ensuring excellent employee support
  • Driving strategic procurement initiatives to optimize cost and efficiency
  • Monitoring and improving online booking tool performance (e.g., KDS Neo, Concur)
  • Analyzing spend data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements
  • Building strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Staying ahead of industry trends, regulations, and visa/immigration changes
  • Drafting internal communications on travel updates and initiatives
  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of travel-related invoices

 

Követelmények

 

  • 10+ years’ experience in procurement with a focus on corporate travel in multinational environments
  • Proven success in leading global RFP and implementation projects for TMC and OBT systems
  • Strong Excel and data analytics skills
  • Fluent in English (German a plus)
  • Strategic thinker with strong leadership, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
  • Experience with global travel strategy development and project delivery
