Head of Service Delivery Unit - Customer UNIT

The SDU provides application operation-, monitoring- and process management services for global customers. The position is located in Pécs.


  • Acts as a production responsible for the customer’s operation
  • Leads E2E the cuustomer’s operation provided by the local MIS-PC/CU SDUs
  • Represents the organization in the customer’s Mgmt and Production boards
  • Has a strong focus on operational excellence (quality, efficiency, automation and agility) and business/portfolio development (moving managed services from classic systems to hybrid cloud)
  • Acts as SPOC for the Quality heads of the MIS-PC Customer Unit
  • Supports the personal development of the directs: designates the areas where improvement is needed; provides coaching in order to develop leadership skills; supports the implementation of development plans; determines development priorities and training needs of the unit and proposes development tools
  • Takes part in the annual budget planning process.
  • Plans the budget/prepares the financial plans of the unit, manages the approved budget, justifies deviations and prepares regular forecasts about its use
  • Continuously monitors performance of the organizational unit and takes correction steps if necessary
  • Provides ideas and information for new business opportunities, proposals, reference visits, presentations introducing the company for meeting the business objectives of the customer and the company

If you have…

  • English - proficient (excellent verbal and written communication skills)
  • Several years’ experience in people management of 100+ FTE-s
  • Understanding of Classic IT and Cloud Technology
  • Knowledge of ITIL
  • Experience in leading other leaders
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • At least 3-7 years’ experience in area IT services towards the customers
  • Broad business understanding and capable to perform highly complex work activities covering business, technical, financial and quality aspects
  • Establishes operational objectives and assign responsibilities through delegation 


  • German language knowledge (but willingness to learn is a must) <br>
