Nilfisk is establishing a Global Process Excellence structure for business and functional processes that aims to define and deploy end-to-end, standard, and global processes across the company.

As a member of the Information and Digital Enablement (IDE) leadership team, the Business Process Excellence leader (BPE) is responsible for designing and establishing a business process framework driving standardization and alignment of ways of working across Nilfisk operations.

The BPE will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across our global operations, optimizing business/functional processes, and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency, effectiveness, and employee satisfaction.

The scope will look alike:

  • Global business and functional processes
  • Global vision and strategy in collaboration with functional leadership
  • Process architecture, design, training, deployment, performance, and improvements
  • Process Governance and Compliance
  • Outsourcing contract (Wipro) supporting business operations (mainly Finance and Customer Care)

The main mission is:

  • The mission of the Global Process Excellence is to increase productivity and effectiveness in Nilfisk operations by standardizing business and functional processes.

The key accountabilities and responsibilities:

  • Active contributor to the IDE Leadership team’s purpose and mission
  • Define, document, and continuously improve the overall Global Business Process framework, including all underlying processes and SOPs
  • Establish Process Governance and ensure x-functional awareness in process performance
  • Develop and implement a global business process excellence strategy, in alignment with Nilfisk’s overall goals and objectives
  • Lead and manage a team of process excellence professionals across various locations, providing guidance, coaching, and support
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation, and establish measurable goals and targets
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to prioritize improvement initiatives, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely execution
  • Manage the global outsourcing contract and ensure continuous improvement of its performance and value
  • Conduct process assessments, data analysis, and performance evaluations to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas of improvement
  • Facilitate cross-functional process mapping and re-engineering sessions to streamline workflows and eliminate waste.
  • Drive the implementation of best practices, methodologies, and tools related to process excellence, such as Lean Six Sigma
  • Develop and deliver training programs to build process improvement capabilities across the organization
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process performance, measure outcomes, and drive accountability
  • Ensure process compliance through regular assessments and remediate compliance gaps in a sustainable way
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and change management, encouraging employees to embrace new ideas and innovative approaches
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments related to business process excellence

The qualifications, what will be needed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing process excellence methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma, across diverse business functions and geographies
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of global business operations
  • Proficiency in process mapping and process improvement tools and software
  • Passionate about Business Value and User Experience with the ability to design and execute at a strategic level
  • Extensive experience in leading business process improvement initiatives on a global scale
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, with experience in leading and motivating teams toward achieving common goals
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Growth mindset, with proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders
  • Change management expertise, with a demonstrated ability to drive cultural transformation and foster a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Deep understanding of industry best practices such as Lean/6 sigma (certification is a plus)
