Lead Software Test Engineer
Feladatok
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
- Estimate testing efforts and resources required for various phases of the project
- Lead the execution of test cases, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results, defects, and quality metrics.
- Monitor and manage defect resolution, working closely with development teams to ensure timely fixes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers and QA team members.
- Assign tasks, manage workloads, and ensure that team members adhere to testing standards and processes.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and clarify expectations.
- Participate in project meetings, providing insights and updates on testing progress and issues.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Define and implement test strategies to ensure thorough coverage and alignment with project goals.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in testing tools, methodologies, and technologies.
- Maintain and update testing documentation as needed to reflect changes in requirements and processes.
- Document test plans, test cases, and test results for reference and auditing and training purposes.
- Conduct regular reviews and retrospectives to assess the effectiveness of testing efforts and make necessary adjustments
Követelmények
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with at least 2-3 years in a lead and senior tester role
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with various testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, LoadRunner, Jmeter, Postman, SoapUI)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB)
- Experience with agile and DevOps practices.
- Experience in performance and security testing.
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Good command of English

Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) is a plus
