Our partner, Hungary's largest agricultural machinery manufacturing company, is looking for a new colleague for the Linux Infrastructure System Engineer.
Linux Infrastructutre System Engineer
Tasks
You will plan, implement and maintain our central Linux systems.
You will also implement security concepts as part of IT projects for new systems and interfaces and carry out updates, patches, security measures and error analyses.
In addition, you will support the design and implementation of system monitoring in accordance with availability requirements and actively participate in the adaptation of IT operating processes.
You will advise and support our IT departments in the planning and further development of system architectures.
You will work on projects and, if necessary, lead integration and transformation projects appropriate to your position.
You will create and maintain system documentation.
Requirements
Ideally, you have successfully completed a degree in (business) informatics or natural sciences.
You have several years of professional experience in the administration of Linux-based IT systems.
You have knowledge of YAML, SALT, Python, Bash and JavaScript.
You have initial experience in the administration of Linux systems using SUSE Manager.
Knowledge of operating SAP systems on Linux servers is an advantage.
You have a strong hands-on mentality as well as a high level of initiative and willingness to think outside the box.
We require a very good command of English as well as a strong communication skills.
