Medior Full Stack .Net Developer

NIX, a global supplier of software engineering and IT outsourcing services, is looking for a Medior Full Stack .Net Developer in its office in Budapest (Vaci Greens, 13th district). You’ll be part of a team of professionals who are ready to find the best tailor-made IT solutions for their multinational clients in various industries and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities:

• Follow an individual development plan set by your supervisor, aiming to continually enhance your skills in areas such as full-stack development and enterprise systems development.
• Write the application’s business logic ensuring robust test coverage.
• Expand the rich user interface focusing on Web Application development and offer ideas for improvement.
• Develop data schemas and integrate with third-party services, demonstrating a solid understanding of Database integration and Cloud Services integration.
• Optimize the performance of heavily loaded parts of the application and manage security vulnerabilities.

What we expect from you:

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial software development.
• Expert knowledge of C# and ASP.NET Core, indicating proficiency in .NET Framework and Backend development.
• Proficiency in front-end web development with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, Ajax, and knowledge of modern web frameworks like React, Material UI, and Bootstrap.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as MS SQL or PostgreSQL.
• Practical experience in integrations with REST Web Services.
• Hands-on experience in writing unit tests using prominent frameworks like NUnit or xUnit.
• Experience with Agile development methodology and functioning as part of an Agile development team.
• Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a remote and largely asynchronous work environment.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with any cloud platforms (MS Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge in containerization using Docker, orchestration and management of the containerized solutions.
• Hands-on experience with performance and optimization problems and a proven ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems.
• Background as team technical leader.
