You will join the digital engineering team that is responsible for the advancement of digital businesses and their supporting technologies and contribution towards key business decision on both a functional and technical level.

As a Junior MuleSoft Software Engineer, you will assist in the design, development, and maintenance of MuleSoft integrations and APIs that connect various systems and applications.

You will work closely with senior engineers to deliver robust integration solutions, contributing to API development and system integrations across multiple platforms.

WHAT WOULD BE YOUR DAILY TASK:

• Design, implement, and test RESTful and SOAP APIs to integrate systems, applications, and databases using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Develop reusable components, frameworks, and services to accelerate integration projects.
• Write clear and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Ensure APIs are properly documented, secured, and optimized for performance.
• Assist in integrating third-party systems and cloud services with MuleSoft technologies.
• Troubleshoot and debug integration issues to ensure seamless connectivity between systems.
• Support the maintenance and enhancement of the integration solutions.
• Work closely with senior developers, architects, and product managers to understand integration requirements and deliver solutions.
• Collaborate with backend and frontend teams to ensure APIs meet business requirements and are integrated effectively.
• Provide updates on progress and challenges during regular meetings.
• Apply your Java skills to real-world integration challenges while staying up to date on the latest MuleSoft technologies, tools, and best practices to ensure continued relevance and growth.
• Engage in continuous learning around integration patterns, data transformation, and API management.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOUR BACKGROUND:

👍 Your Background:

• University / college degree in Computer Science, Engineering (finished/finishing studies between 2024-2026),
• 0-2 years experience in SW development 
• Strong knowledge of Java with experience in building APIs backend or backend services or relevant integration tools and technologies.
• Mulesoft experience is prefered not not required.
• Candidates with Java experience and a willingness to learn Mulesoft are welcome to apply, For candidates with Java background, receive comprehensive training and mentorship to gain expertise in Mulesoft intergation solutions
• Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs and integration technologies.
• Familiarity with XML, JSON and SQL for data transformation and system integration.
• Understanding of API security including OAuth, JWT and other authentiation mechanism is a plus.
• Hands on experience with Java based development frameworks (Spring, Boot, JAX_RS, etc is a plus).
• Experience working with database, sucj as MYSQL, mongoDB or similar is also a plus
