About the role

We are looking for newly graduated Automation Engineers to join our team of Process Automation Engineers. As a team, we are working on the biggest projects in Novo Nordisk history. Our goal is to implement robust and future-proof solutions for our customers.

 

Your role will be key in designing, implementing, and validating automation solutions for the pharmaceutical industries.

 

How you might spend your days

As an Automation Engineer, you’ll:

  • Design, develop, implement, qualify, and support Process Control Systems, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
  • Collaborate closely with process experts and specialists in related fields such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Historian systems, instrumentation, and production equipment to ensure seamless integration.
  • Optimize and develop automation strategies, applying state-of-the-art solutions to tackle customer challenges and sharing knowledge with colleagues and partners.
  • Advise customers on selecting the most effective automation solutions.
  • Contribute to defining automation strategies and architectures, supporting international sister departments and strengthening NNE’s Process Automation engagement.

The miles you’ve walked

In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

  • You have a degree in chemistry, automation, electrical engineering, or marine engineering.
  • You have an interest of working with PCS/DCS Application development such as ABB 800xA or ABB SattLine)
  • You find the GMP/GAMP environment exciting
