As a Planning Manager in Global Supply Chain, you will have a pivotal role in the Supply Chain Planning Transformation Globally. You will play a vital role co-leading with the Global Process Owners the development, creation, and implementation of the global supply chain planning work processes, standards, tools, organizational structure, and their capabilities together with the Global Process Owner. You will do this by applying your planning expertise and collaborating with internal and external partners to develop best-in-class planning work processes for the company globally. Your role has the potential to evolve (after ~12-18 months) to a Planning Operational leadership position with responsibilities to lead and develop a team of planners that will run E2E Planning at the company businesses, ensuring the efficient, integrated, and effective movement of goods from suppliers to customers.

Tasks

  • Lead the design, development and implementation of the supply chain planning work processes and standards for the company globally, in alignment between business and technology to ensure that business requirements will be satisfied by the most efficient and effective solutions and in alignment with our vision and strategy. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define end-to-end planning workflows, establish standardized procedures, document, and execute best practices to drive consistency and efficiency across planning activities at the company.
  • Partner with IT and Global Process Owners to accelerate the ERP standardization roadmap for planning systems, planning team’s capabilities, and the integration of planning tools under one ERP system to enable standard planning work process, drive efficiency and productivity across business units.
  • Lead, train and develop a team of planners to build a high-performing planning organization. You will be an active collaborator on recruitment of the planning talent for the company. 
  • Design and provide recommendations on organizational structures, roles, and responsibilities to support effective planning operations across all divisions. Define standard work processes, job descriptions, team’s location, and performance expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in supply chain planning, logistics, inventory management or a related field
  • Experience with SIOP demand and supply planning
  • Proficiency in S4 / Hana / APO / IBP
  • Proven ability to build a strategic plan from an idea
  • Comfortable driving change and with a proven track record of innovative thinking and/or creating something that has not been yet invented
  • Ability to build teams to deliver results (influence) and get things done
  • Excel in talent development, conflict resolution, and promoting a culture of operational discipline, driving both operational efficiency and long-term success
  • Proven track record of operating with high work ethics standards, grit, perseverance, determination to ‘do the right thing’ always, and make things happen
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
