Project Cost Estimator
to accomplish discipline cost estimating and contracting negotiation activities during preparation and implementation of construction projects, improve estimating methodologies, create and handle databases.
Place of work: Budapest / Százhalombatta / Tiszaújváros / Algyő
As a Project Cost Estimator you will
- Define CAPEX of required investment material, labor and equipment resources for individual construction projects according to technical scope aligning to its rate of specification
- Visit sites and record information on physical and technical conditions relevant for capital cost estimation, prepare quantity survey
- Contribute in preparation of management discission making materials
- Harmonize different parametric, factor and detailed estimating methods
- Contribute in development of estimating templates, premises, cost-technical and Lesson Learnt database
- Make recommendations for development of estimating templates, premises, cost-technical and Lesson Learnt database
- Analyze and review budget estimates submitted by Contractors/Vendors, actively participate in contracting price negotiations
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports of achievements
- Handle any emerging miscellaneous tasks using professional experience
Requirements
- Completed degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
- At least 3 years job experience
- Fluent in Hungarian, advanced English in both written and verbal
- Knowledge of MS Office, MS Project and cost estimating softwares (Terc, ACCE, Cleopatra, etc.)
- Driving license
