Purchasing Excellence - VMI Expert
Feladatok
- Drive SAP adaption for VMI and safety stock setup
- Overseeing the integration and management of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)
- Purchasing representative in stock reduction projects
- Speed up and rollout VMI/safety stock setup at supplier site or in VPE, ensuring alignment with
organizational goals and supply chain strategies
- Collaborate with vendors to establish VMI agreements and protocols
- Utilize real-time data to make informed decisions about stock replenishment
- Train internal teams on VMI processes and best practices
- Analyzing purchasing processes as well as further development of and according to the company
- Introduction and support of new IT processes and software solutions in purchasing
- Supporting of Purchasing reporting
- Planning and monitoring of key performance indicators
- Analyze of purchasing processes and identification of potentials for continuous improvement
Követelmények
- Degree in Business Administration or a comparable course of study with technical understanding;
alternatively
- Proven experience in inventory management, supply chain logistics, or procurement
- You have expertise in project management and are characterized by your analytical and conceptual
thinking
- Due to your IT affinity, you impress with very good knowledge of common MS Office applications and have experience with SAP, JAGGAER, and providers of compliance software tools
- You are a team player and possess a confident appearance, rhetorical skills, and assertiveness
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and vendors
- Business fluent English in speaking and writing completes your profile
- Willingness to travel
