Do you have experience in SAP BW and managing a team?
Do you have interest of participating in coordinating SAP BI Development and Operation related activities, service management in alignment with MOL Group’s strategy and business requirements?
Would you like to contribute to IT development projects in alignment with the IT strategy and perform IT development tasks to ensure the satisfaction of internal business stakeholders, employees and users of IT systems and infrastructure?
Main responsibilities
• Lead and mentor a team of SAP BW, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines and operational KPIs.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of SAP BW solutions, including modelling, data flows, query design, and reporting.
• Manage operational tasks such as system monitoring, ticket resolution, and SLA adherence.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver innovative BI solutions.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure quality and consistency in deliverables.
• Drive upgrades, enhancements, and architectural improvements in the SAP BW landscape.
• Ensure compliance with best practices in development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Stay updated on SAP BW, SAC, Datasphere, and Celonis advancements, providing recommendations for future improvements.
• Monitor and control the human resources within your expert team (10-12 people) and responsible for its management. Responsible for planning the working hours of the group you are is managing and for complying with them and other rules
• Coordinates team work. Ensures team member development needs and objectives are clear and measures it on frequent basis with providing feedback on performance review meetings.
• Performs administrative tasks for the team as team lead (checking vacation plans, working hours booking, SLA times).
• Participate in Annual People Cycle (APC) processes within your team.
• Propose development of competencies within the expert team, the planning of succession and education. Participates in the preparation and monitoring of the annual training plan for employees within the group.
• Conducts and participates in the recruitment, selection and induction processes.
• Use empowerment, trust and other strategies as appropriate to develop and motivate team members
Requirement:
• University or college degree in Information Technology, Engineering or Economics degree
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in SAP BW development, operations, and team leadership
• Strong knowledge of SAP BWonHANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and Datasphere
• Excellent individual / interpersonal management skills with structural thinking and analysis approach
• Ability to plan, organize and fully utilize internal and external resources.
• Communication skills – the ability to communicate well in English and Hungarian, verbally and in written form is a must.
• Influencing and negotiation skills
• Have valid Driving License (B category)
