Responsibilities:

• Develops and implements strategies for migrating data from legacy systems to SAP environments, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Collaborates with various stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and external partners, to ensure that data migration activities align with project timelines and objectives.
• Ensures data integrity and quality by defining data validation rules, performing data assessments, and resolving discrepancies before and after migration.
• Utilizes technical skills in SAP data migration tools (such as SAP Data Services or LSMW) and methodologies to execute data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Develops and conducts testing scenarios to validate that data has been migrated accurately and meets business requirements.
• Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation of data migration processes, including mapping documents, impact assessments, and user guides.
• Provides guidance and training to team members and end-users on data management practices and the new SAP environment, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption.
• Identifies opportunities for process optimization and best practices in data migration, contributing to the overall efficiency of data management within the organization.

Requirements:

• University or college degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3-5+ years relevant experience in IT migration or migration management preferably in multinational work environment
• Result oriented and able to work on own
• Structural thinking and analysis approach
• Communication skills – the ability to communicate well in English and Hungarian, verbally and in written form
• Participation in IT projects and cooperation
• Familiar with waterfall, agile, scrum or other rapid application development and testing method
• Working experience with one of the followings is an advantage: SAP Data Services or LSMW, SAP Solution Manager
