We are looking for a senior accountant colleague for our German-based automotive supplier partner with a history of around one hundred years, for its new location in Nyíregyháza.
Senior Accountant
Tasks
Responsible for the area of asset accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable
Handling the activation process of procurement processes in the investment area
Inventory maintenance and change postings
Prepares daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports in accordance with the applicable procedures and management requirements
Preparation and monitoring of monthly management reports and annual financial statements
Direct reporting to the commercial manager
Analyze and manage company finances, including liquidity, profitability and cash flow
Planning, implementation and control of budgets and forecasts including variance analysis in cooperation with the commercial director
Ensuring compliance with tax and legal regulations
Contact person for management and stakeholders on financial issues
Participates in the work and cooperates with external and internal control authorities, tax administration, banks, audit and other business partners
Responsible for preparation and controls the following calculations: value added tax on goods and services, calculate exchange rate differences on the foreign funds, receivables and liabilities; as well as all other tax calculations, except the calculations related to salaries
Preparation financial statements and tax balances in accordance with applicable local legislation and in accordance with international accounting standards, as well as internal policies and procedures
Identify, support, and help implement ERP programs
Requirements
You have a commercial education or a business degree; Ideally with the addition of a degree in balance sheet/asset accounting
Several years of professional experience in the field of finance
Sound knowledge of accounting (Hungarian GAAP, desirable HGB or IFRS) as well as tax and business law
Experience in preparing and analyzing monthly and annual financial statements
Sound knowledge of the use of ERP systems and Excel
Very good analytical skills and a strong understanding of business relationships
Very good communication skills in Hungarian and English, both written and oral.
