Job Purpose:

Working as an active member of a Bid Team, the Service Architect will design Managed Service Solutions that enable Getronics to respond to opportunities for new business and retain existing business through renewals.

The Service Architect is an integral critical component of Getronics’ overall Business Development function and therefore the success of the company.

 

Responsibilities:

Working within the Sales Governance Process on Small, Medium, and Large opportunities for multi country Digital Workspace Portfolio opportunities (Digital Workspace, Service Desk, Field and Onsite) through Qualification, Proposal Development and Contract Development to Closure.

  • Close collaboration with, but not necessarily limited to, the Portfolio owner, the assigned, Presales Representative, Bid Manager, Pricing Consultant and Salesperson
  • Scope opportunities, analyze, breakdown and assess the service requirements.
  • Design Service Solutions based on the Opportunity Scope that has been defined by Portfolio, Sales and Presales
    • Being innovative to provide differentiation from competitors.
    • Make assumptions and caveats that are relevant to the information supplied to demonstrate value and protect Getronics.
  • Lead solution workshops, both internally and with the prospective and current customers
  • Consult with and gain all stakeholder approvals for the solution.
  • Oversee cost and risk models.
  • Author proposal and presentation material.
  • Deliver customer presentations.
  • Create and revise contractual Work Orders / Service Schedule / Statement of Works
  • Participate in contractual negotiations.
  • Contribute to hand over to operational transition / transformation / delivery.
  • Being familiar with Portfolio collateral and associated cost models
  • Ensuring compliance with all Management Systems for Quality, Environment, Health and Safety and Information Security for the scope of work.
  • Cooperating in process reviews, portfolio developments, improvement projects and audits.
  • Reasonably, be willing to work on other opportunities as determined by Getronics business requirements, that are different to the base accountability’s description.

 

Requirements:

Experience

  • Preferably Three to five years’ experience in the role of a pre-sales Managed Services Architect
  • Technical Knowledge
  • In line with or more than the experience requirement
  • Service Knowledge and Design
  • In line with or more than the experience requirement

Certifications

  • In line with or more than the experience requirement
