Our client is a dynamic startup specializing in complete fit-out services, operating successfully in the Romanian construction market for nearly two decades. They offer bespoke solutions and value-added services for construction and renovation projects. As they expand into Hungary with a brand-new showroom in Budapest, they are seeking a skilled Site Manager to play a key role in their success. The position is based in Budapest and will focus on managing projects across Hungary, but focusing mainly on Budapest projects, primarily fit-out projects.
Site Manager (Construction)
Tasks
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance. Your key tasks include:
- Managing projects from planning to completion.
- Coordinating subcontractors and resources.
- Monitoring schedules to avoid delays and extra costs.
- Ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to deadlines.
- Communicating with teams and reporting progress.
- Managing MEP installations and related documentation.
- Identifying risks and resolving project challenges.
Requirements
What You Bring:
- Fluent English (both written and spoken).
- Completed technical studies (e.g., Technical University of Construction, Polytechnic University, etc.).
- Proven experience in fit-out or civil construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of materials, MEP systems, and fit-out techniques.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and MS Office.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a results-driven approach.
- Experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish.
