Currently we are looking for candidates for the following position:

Sr. Engineer - Infrastructure Engineering (Network)

(Network)

  • Support the design team, creation of standards for, implementation, and management of our LAN infrastructure to meet growing demand of businessLiaison with operations team on LAN and server service operations: monitoring/events, incidents, problems, and escalations
  • Define full lifecycle service management (roadmap, design, transition, operation, continuous improvement) for all network hardware
  • Implement, coordinate and support network changes (limited design knowledge)
  • Isolate, diagnose and resolve network problems individually and through coordination with others
  • Maintain system access and security in order to safeguard company data.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated experience with Cisco IOS administration (NX-OS, IOS-XE and classic IOS trains (Cisco Certifications preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience with Cisco wireless systems (both autonomous and lightweight) in an enterprise environment (Cisco Certification preferred)
  • Perform network modelling, analysis, and planning
  • Configure and install hardware such as switches and wireless devices
  • Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose network problems
  • Design, test, and inspect data communication systems
  • Project contributor to other IT projects where LAN communication changes may be needed
  • Collaborate with other IT technical teams to ensure continuity of services, issue resolution, and integrated solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors
  • Service delivery that also focuses on Metrics, Performance, Capacity, and Availability management
  • Assist with design of disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Excellent technical and documentation skills

Qualifications:

  • Project contributor to other IT projects (new technology) where LAN communication changes may be needed
  • Collaborate with other IT technical teams to ensure continuity of services, issue resolution, and integrated solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors (keep updates for prices and necessary tools to order)
  • Service delivery that also focuses on Metrics, Performance, Capacity, and Availability management
  • Assist with design of disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Excellent technical and documentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline (BSEE, BSCS, BSET) and a minimum of 5 years of job-related experience.
  • Must have current Cisco Certifications like Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNA or CCNP)
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in planning or engineering capacity. The candidate must possess outstanding technical skills.
  • Must be excellent in troubleshooting of network issues
