Brief Description:

We are seeking a skilled Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. Your role will primarily involve provisioning and managing Azure subscriptions, network security groups, application gateways, and virtual machines. Additionally, you will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of VMs, including monitoring, patching, and incident management. Database VMs based on MS-SQL Server will also be part of your responsibilities. Other duties include managing machine and user accounts, interface management, firewall rules, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provision and manage Azure subscriptions, network security groups, application gateways, and virtual machines.
• Configure and maintain VMs, including monitoring, patching, and incident management.
• Manage database VMs based on MS-SQL Server.
• Manage machine and user accounts, interface management, and firewall rules.

Required Skills:

• Language: Fluent in German (C or B-level)
• Azure Expertise: Strong understanding of provisioning VMs on Azure using Infrastructure Deployment Pipelines.
• IaC & Pipelines: Basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and experience with pipelines.
• VM Management: Expert in VM interface management, especially port forwarding.
• Identity Management: Proficient in creating and modifying accounts in DDS, including secure handling of private and public keys.
• GnuGPG: Experience with GnuGPG and related scripts (creating key pairs, encrypting/decrypting files).
• Server Management: Extensive experience in monitoring, scanning, and patching servers (application, web, database, SFTP). Solid understanding of WSUS is essential. Experience with Azure services and PRTG Monitor for monitoring.
• PRTG: Experience with PRTG Monitor, including creating sensors.
• Database: Basic knowledge of database servers, specifically MS-SQL Server.
• SFTP: Experience with SFTP servers (managing accounts, keys, permissions, and folder structures).
• Web Servers: Proficient in configuring IIS and supporting website setup.

Nice-to-have:

• Knowledge of LINUX VMs.
