Department and Project

This position is within the Tolling Services team of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary. The team consists of IT professionals specializing in electronic road-charging solutions. Together with our partners, we develop and operate intelligent, kilometer-based tolling systems for international customers, covering the entire business process (vehicle registrations, country booking, providing On-Board Units, position data transmission, charge calculation, and fleet billing). Leveraging digital intelligence and advanced technology, our tolling solutions facilitate seamless mobility across Europe. The team aims to enhance existing services and expand into new domains. As part of an international team collaborating with T-Systems International, you will play a key role in supporting our customers with cutting-edge tolling solutions.

Main tasks

As Test Manager:

Test management is an important enabler of our customers' trust.

• You are responsible for the delivery of all testing activities (optional: within a specific functional area.
• Steering of the test process
• Generation of Master Test Plan, Test Level Plans, Test Specification, Test Report and Test Completion Reports.
• Definition of testing tasks and deliverables, development, and surveillance of test specification guidelines.
• Specification of customer responsibilities, contributions, dependencies and required deliverables.
• Allocation and prioritization of testing tasks for the squad members, who may be at on-shore, near-shore and off-shore locations.
• Test organization and test coordination.
• Risk management relating to the assigned functional area.
• Monitoring, control and reporting of progress and status.
• Maintaining an overview of defect reports.
• Escalation of incidents, defects and problems.
• Quality assurance of testing deliverables created by the team.
• Steering system analysis, and design, implement and execute system and acceptance tests.
• You analyze end-to-end business processes and process chains to design, specify and execute end-to-end acceptances tests for complete business solutions. 
• To understand planned features and user stories, you co-operate with the development team and take part in refinements and acceptance meetings.
• You co-operate with operation colleagues to maintain the infrastructure needed.

Background and required skills:

• ISTQB Certified Tester.
• ISTQB Advanced Test Manager.
• Experienced in collecting deep business and process knowledge.
• Experience in in agile techniques as Scrum and open working in a DevOps squad with joint responsibility for production environment & SLAs.
• Several years of experience as a tester/test analyst/test coordinator/test manager. (5+ years of experience)
• Experience in test analysis, effort estimation, test coordination and the generation of test plans, test specifications and test reports. 
• Practical experience in testing in an agile environment (shift left approach).
• Communication skills to be able to work in the agile dev team with PO, PM, developers and testers in English.
• Experience in handling of test case management tools, as e.g. Atlassian suite.

Advantage:

• Practical experience in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
• Hands-on experience working with a CI/CD pipeline (dealing with git, conducting code reviews, analyzing static test results such as static code analysis).
