The department provides Commercial Management, Operational Accounting, Market Intelligence, Business Analytics and Digital Innovation support worldwide to the Upstream and Global Projects Organizations all along the value chain from exploration thru site development to production.

Upstream Integrated Solutions Analyst

What will your role be in the team

As Upstream Analyst you will:

  • Become a member of Budapest Upstream Teams with the aim of maximizing the value of ExxonMobil’s Upstream portfolio
  • Build knowledge of Upstream commercial businesses, tools, processes (PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, Blueprism, Phyton is a plus)
  • Provide process, administrative and analytical support thru effective collaboration within ExxonMobil`s commercial function and with external parties

 
Actual work activities depend on the specific role, consisting one or more of the following activities:

  • Interpret contract language, terms and conditions into administrative actions and manage corresponding documentation in a timely manner
  • Ensure timely completion of contract administration, changes and amendments to contract language, terms and condition
  • Support Contract Language development and ensure its completeness through performing integrity check
  • Monitor and support compliance with due contractual obligations
  • Identify, communicate and resolve contract, price or volume related issues
  • Timely management of purchase requisition, settlement, invoicing and back office activities
  • Support the planning and budgeting of commercial targets and steward adherence to those targets
  • Perform business intelligence duties from data collection through dashboard creation to data interpretation and analytics
  • Coordinate tasks related to internal control practices to ensure organizational standards are met
  • Advance and assist in the development and implementation of Commercial digital projects and provide support in system operations to users

What are we looking for

  • Ongoing or completed Bachelor/Master`s degree (Business Economics, Law, Accounting is a plus)
  • 0-5 years relevant work experience
  • Fluent level of English is required
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, competency in Excel
  • Ability to influence others without authority and work in a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to accuracy and details, and ability to meet priorities and deadlines
  • Willingness to take self-initiative and seek challenges
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hrs/week)
