Administration and Finance Manager



Duties will cover the following fields 

  • Leading finance planning and forecasting, budgeting, reporting and related administrative and compliance tasks
  • Developing, coordinating and monitoring business administration procurements, contracting procedures, tenders, office and facility management 
  • Responsible for performance management within a small team 

Required qualifications 

  • University degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Finance and Accountancy 
  • At least  5 years of relevant experience including human resources management
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian
  • Up-to-date knowledge of and experience in the public or corporate finance, financial planning, human resources, legislation
  • Experience in an international organisation would be an advantage

  • Desire to improve the organisation and deliver more value for the membership
  • Ability to promote process improvement and organisational development
  • Excellent people management skills and prove track of business administration (finance, budgeting, etc)
  • Capacity to translate financial and business indicators into crisp messages with actionable/meaningful information
  • High level skills in organisation, coordination, leadership, relationship building
  • High proficiency in use of software systems: Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and accountancy systems or other financial reporting tools
  • Strong communication and commercial skills
  • Good social skills, service-oriented
  • Strong negotiation skills and able to achieve agreed objectives
  • Integrity, credibility, dedication to the Organisation’s mission


  • Our non-profit Organisation provides a platform for its members and partners in the European region to collaborate on tax administration issues. It strives to contribute to the progress of member tax administrations by delivering practical solutions and facilitating the sharing of experience. The Secretariat of the Organisation is located in Budapest, Hungary. The Organisation consists of 44 full members and 1 associate member tax administrations, offering technical events, technical enquiries, projects and publications on the variety of topics related to the tax administration operations.
  • We are looking for an experienced and qualified Manager, who will support and coordinate the finance and business administration related work and will have an integral part in the development of the Organisation.
