The main purpose of our Banking Controller role is to process debtor and creditor related disbursement activities and processing all king of payment within FCSC EMEA. Besides that, you can also gather experience in operational treasury activities.

Banking Controller (SSC)

VACANCY DESCRIPTION:

Managing operational treasury tasks, including:

  • Preparing and checking weekly payment run and processing them using bank applications (in bank terminal / treasury software solution)
  • Handling payments in excess of 15MM EUR
  • Acting as administrator of bank accesses, grant, review and revoke accesses
  • Processing manual/urgent payments
  • Processing direct debits
  • Perform bank statement reconciliations daily, monthly
  • Calculating and booking of gains and losses related to foreign currencies
  • Determining/Entering of future currency transactions
  • Checking, texting/coding and processing of payments in a timely manner
  • Analysis & booking of payment differences
  • Determining, entering & booking of forward currency transactions
  • Processing of Supplier Finance payment process
  • Forecasting of incoming and outgoing payments and in-house cash on accounts
  • Resolving internal and external inquiries related to bookings & answering operational treasury related questions as second-line support (phone & e-mail)
  • Cash application – booking daily bank statement covering all incoming and outgoing payments in a timely manner to the right accounts
  • Determining and maintaining payment calendar
  • Ensuring ICF compliance of payment process and timely execution of controls
  • Perform ad-hoc and regular reporting activities
  • Contribution to further bank process optimization
  • Take part in FCSC EMEA project activities

WHAT WE ASK:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable preferably in a multinational environment or in an a Shared Service Centre environment
  • Studies in Accounting or Finance is a significant advantage
  • Fluency in English (any other European language is an advantage)
  • Experience in SAP and related workflow solutions is an advantage
  • Confident Excel skills
  • Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Proactive and outcome-focused attitude, eagerness to learn
  • Self-motivation
  • Results-oriented and customer-oriented
  • Ability to adopt change
