The Channel Analytics Analyst will be the lead analyst providing channel analytics in Europe, Middle East and Africa as part of Electrical Sector EMEA Sales & Marketing function. The individual will guide the development and implementation of the channel analytics under the direction of the Head of Analytics, supporting ES-EMEA’s Commercial Teams goals. The main areas of activities will be in providing analytical tools and coaching the end user community in how to use these tools to support their channel related decision-making processes.

Commercial Analytics Data Analyst

Job responsibilities:

  • Working with Channel SMEs, to design and delivery of channel performance reports
  • Carrying out insight projects into key channel issues using a range of data visualisation, statistical, and ML techniques
  • Managing the integration of Channel related data sources into the CPA team’s data lake
  • Contributing to the re-engineering of channel business processes to enhance their ability to generate useful reporting data
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of data quality standards, processes, and delivery mechanisms
  • Supporting the roll out, understanding, and continued usage of channel dashboards across the Sales Areas/Countries/Divisions
  • Supporting the Commercial Performance Analytics Teams wider remit to provide analytics to the Electrical Sector EMEA business by contributing to shared projects, and supporting other domain leads in projects in their area
  • Using the Scrum approach to project management and engages as a team member in all the necessary activities required to implement Scrum effectively

Required:

  • Education level required: Minimum Bachelor level degree in a field with a high level of mathematical/statistical learning e.g. STEM
  • Years and area of experience required: 1 year
  • Technical knowledge: 
  • Good knowledge of data analysis techniques and approaches including, data visualisation, statistics, and machine learning o Familiarity with data visualisation, data integration, and data science technologies o Familiarity with the business systems that contain operational performance data
  • Soft skills:

  • Legal requirements (specific to Country): EU working permit
