Role Overview: As an Energy Modelling Expert, you will leverage your expertise in power market dynamics and modeling tools to provide valuable insights that support business decisions, particularly regarding regulatory scenarios in the US energy system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement regulatory scenarios for the company’s fundamental energy system models,
• Apply power systems modeling techniques and tools to run energy market simulations and analyses,
• Analyze trends and drivers in the US Eastern Interconnect energy market,
• Use modeling tools like Plexos (or similar) to integrate regulatory scenarios and generate in-depth market insights,
• Maintain a strong understanding of US power markets, even though prior experience in this area is not a strict requirement,
• Contribute to the company’s economic publications, providing expert analysis of energy market trends,
• Collaborate with stakeholders to guide business decisions with data-driven insights,
• Monitor and analyze regulatory changes and market developments regarding energy prices,
• Represent the company in external forums, conferences, and other platforms.

• University degree in an analytical field (such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics),
• Experience in using energy market analysis and model running tools, such as Plexos or anything similar,
• Experience in the energy market is an advantage,
• Strong communication skills,
• Confident English language knowledge.
