Head of Internal IT – Service HUB Owner (REF1425U)


You, as the Head of Internal IT (Service Hub Owner), will be responsible for leading the operation, development, innovation and supplier management of the internal IT systems of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary. Responsibilities include the local network, server, workplace, collaboration and application landscape of a 5000+ company in four cities. You will closely cooperate with local business stakeholders, the global DT IT teams and also other Telekom entities in central Europe. You will be expected to help us being the number one employer for IT experts in Hungary.

We look for candidates who

  • have previous experience in leading IT organizations (either internal or customer facing)
  • understand agility, devops and modern engineering practices
  • enable their teams to make decisions and take responsibility
  • can strike the proper balance between local and central IT services,
  • execute central Deutsche Telekom IT strategy in the Hungarian location,
  • have a solid technology, process and financial understanding of a modern IT organization
  • are able to co-operate with the local, central and peer stakeholders
  • are good team players, disciplined and have the ability to get things done

Professional experience / expertise:

  • senior leader with an agile mindset, entrepreneurial thinking
  • has professional leadership experience with high complexity roles
  • business Management know-how
  • technology competence in Cloud / DevOps / Automation
  • intercultural expertise on cooperation in an international context
  • experience in driving / managing change & large transformational projects
  • advanced English language knowledge is a must


  • German language knowledge
