Head of Team- Bid Management (REF3612C)

Manages his/her team to support the strategic plans determined by higher management levels and the realization of the bid & marketing program within the team:

  • Bid management; Cost center management;
  • Partner Management in International Relations;
  • Participate in Business Development Activities;
  • Good understanding of  Sales Process, understanding of Tender Process
  • Personal and disciplinary management responsibility for employee of the team, professional partner and enabler;
  • Selection and recruitment of suitable employees, resource management;
  • Operation of HR processes (performance management, career development etc), support of administrative processes for assessment;
  • Focus on the (further) development of employee skills (reskilling, upskilling) in terms of sales/marketing techniques and new IT technologies;
  • Ensuring the appropriate workload / work distribution within the team, managing resources (work schedules, holidays, substitution plans);
  • Ensuring the fulfillment of the team’s expected commercial targets;
  • Leading employees with various sales (hunting and farming) and marketing competencies;
  • Creating positive and safe environment, facilitating efficient team work and handling conflicts;
  • Regular one to one discussions with team members;
  • Performing work in international teams, in an integrated, virtual work environment;

Requirements

  • College/university degree; relevant Bid management experience min. 3 years;
  • Advanced German and English knowledge;
  • People Management 2-3 years experience (+Soon to be leaders)
  • Problem solving skills; communication skills
  • Ability to work in complex working environment
  • Ability to motivate and instruct co-workers
  • Perform well in fast changing environment

Nice to have:

  • Strong knowledge of Bid Processes
  • Certification: APMP, CAPM, PMP certifications
