Responsibilities:
• Manages/operates the IT applications in his/her area of expertise and provides professional support to users
• Handles incidents, problems, service requests and change requests and provides resolutions in co-operation of the IT operating colleagues in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and makes recommendations for improving related processe
• Drives root cause analysis and implementation of long-term solutions to recurring problems.
• Communicates service updates, outages, and enhancements to stakeholders effectively
• Participates in the service performance monitoring for the applications under his/her operational responsibility.
• Investigate any SLA breaches or performance issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Identifies and mitigates risks associated with IT service operations.
• Provides the up-to-date state of the application inventory and CMDB on his/her professional field and makes proposals to improve the relevant processes.
• Participates in the implementation of IT Projects, Service Improvement Requests (SIR) and developments resulting from the modification of the business needs of Downstream Production and other supported organizations
• Ensures proper documentation of processes, workflows and service management practices introduced by the project.
• Organize training sessions or workshops for operations teams to support smooth service handover.
• Initiates, promotes, and supports the professional and cost-effective removal of obsolete IT systems.
• Participates in the competition, professional selection of external partners supplying / developing / supporting applications as well in the determination of the conditions of cooperation with them.
• Oversee the end-to-end service delivery lifecycle, ensuring operational excellence. Is responsible for the lifecycle management (registration, installation, change, revocation) of operating software licenses in his/her area of operation, and for the software usage according to the license agreement.
• Provides insights and recommendations for contract renewals or modifications based on service delivery performance.
Requirements:
• BSC or MSC degree in IT, Engineering
• 2-4+ years relevant experience in IT operation roles
• General knowledge of IT hardware and software, ITIL Foundation knowledge
• User-level knowledge of Windows server operating systems, Microsoft Windows operating system, relational database management systems (Oracle, MS-SQL), monitoring systems ,virtualization technologies (eg VMWare Operation level knowledge of at least one application server solution and thin and thick client-based systems,)
• Logical thinking, problem solving, communication both in Hungarian and English, Client focus approach, Willingness to learn
