WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN THIS ROLE:

Resulting from MOL Group’s 2030 - Enter Tomorrow strategy, the Consumer Services business unit was separated from Downstream and developed its own, very ambitious business strategy for Retail and Mobility. Consumer Services has started its digital transformation program, including the development of a strong analytical capability and an analytics platform, the Data Lake.

The Junior Product Owner (“PO”) will be responsible to work with the Data Lake Product Owner on the improvement and maintenance of the Data Lake platform in order to maximize its business value across the Consumer Services organization. This includes the identification and prioritization of new features driving business value, as well as technological improvements. The Junior PO also acts as a point of contact for business stakeholders regarding Data Lake capabilities, new demands, rollout plans and releases, and has to fully align with the Data Lake Product Owner on stakeholder management and communications.

WHAT WOULD BE YOUR DAILY TASK:

• Represent MOL Digital Factory and be an internal advocate for digital transformation values
• Act as a business coordinator on Data Lake enhancement projects and activities
• Create, enhance and maintain training materials to build data acumen and drive the effective usage of data among business teams through various training programs
• Assist teams sharing Data Lake knowledge sharing principles to ensure developments are appropriately documented
• Support the exploration and definition of requirements for Data Lake developments, including new data integrations, data scope expansions and dataflow changes
• Assist in understanding and translating the BI related business needs into actionable KPIs and intuitive dashboards designs
• Support the project proposals and the product roadmap by assessing the technical feasibility and resource requirements for delivering new features and feature improvements
• Support successful product delivery coordinating cross-functional teams, including data analysts, engineers, vendors and business users
• Maintain the product backlog - in alignment with the Data Lake PO, business teams and Digital Factory squads
• Contribute to the business adoption of the delivered data products
• Gather customer feedback, monitor and analyze product performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvements and service stability

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOUR BACKGROUND:

👍 Your Background:

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree is a plus
• Specialization in Business / Computer Science / Engineering
• Data and/or business related studies/project experience is an advantage

 Your Personality is equipped with ability of

• Proactive mindset, positive attitude and a strong sense of ownership and team mentality
• Openness to different cultures across CEE
• Experience in working in agile / scrum is a plus

👍 Team Player: Believe that teamwork and collaboration make the community strong.

👍 Language Skills: Fluent in English; proficiency in any other language is an advantage.

👍Tech Savvy: General hardware and software knowledge, interest in new technologies, Professional use of Microsoft Office (incl. strong experience with PowerPoint), Experience with working with task management tool (e.g., Jira or similar tool, Knowledge of MS Power BI or similar data visualization toolKnowledge of database systems (MS SQL, Databricks, Azure cloud are a plus)
