Logistics Manager (m/f/d)
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Rheinmetall Hungary Munitions Zrt., a member of the Rheinmetall Group, is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager for its new factory in Várpalota.
- Organising, managing, supervising and evaluating the work of logistics staff
- Developing logistics processes (materials handling, inventory management, transport)
- Developing and optimising the material handling chain
- Ensuring warehouse processes in accordance with the KANBAN principle
- Planning and monitoring incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Cooperation with freight forwarding companies
- Organising and carrying out annual and mid-year inventories
- Participating in business negotiations and contracting in the field
- Planning and monitoring the costs of the specialisation
- Regular reporting to the Operations Director
- Integration of logistics processes into company procedures and quality management system
- Taking part in short term business trips as required
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Specialised logistics, technical or supply chain related qualifications
- At least 5 years’ management experience in logistics and inventory management
- Valid forklift truck driver's licence (pallet jack, walkie stacker, push-post, forklift with driver seat)
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Skills in leading and managing people
- Knowledge of warehouse movements, transport documentation
- Process design, process approach
- Excellent time management
- Good communication skills
