Operational Buyer Intern EMEA - Budapest (Hungary) - Your future position?

Overall mission:

In this exciting role you will learn and gain practical experience on the Indirect Materials and Services (IM&S) operational buyer role by supporting the Request and Fulfillment team in the delivery of services. Manage indirect materials and services availability and help resolve plant/region specific issues to ensure security of supply. It is a centralized role focused on assigned vendors or categories, supporting the entire Request & Fulfillment Team's daily operations. You will take direction from the Indirect Materials and Services Team Lead and the Indirect Materials and Services Manager.

We expect our suppliers to share our commitment to clean and safe working conditions, good agricultural and collection practices, animal welfare and environmental stewardship. To these ends, our new program includes the status of our suppliers and materials and the levels of rigor and partnerships in place. This program includes four levels of supplier status: this is designed to increase transparency, reduce risk and create greater traceability and data. The ultimate aim is for our full portfolio of ingredients, materials and services to be sourced responsibly.

You will:

• Support daily operations in the Indirect Materials and Services R&F area

PO Management:

• Release Purchase Orders according instructions within quality and time constraints
• Track and follow up Purchase Order acknowledgements to ensure security of supply

Issue Resolution:

• Manage indirect materials and services availability issue resolution
• Handle PO change/deletion requests
• Communicate with internal and external partners
• Manage incoming PTP related employee and vendor queries by relevant communication channels (email, instant messaging tool, service management tool)
• Sort of incoming requests and forward them to the right internal team
• Handle payment notifications (i.e. manage failure notification deliveries)

You:

• Fluency in English, any other European language knowledge is beneficial, especially Spanish knowledge
• Active student status at a Hungarian university
• Willingness to work at 30 hours/week and explore procurement basics
• No specific procurement experience required
