Pricing is one of the most critical management functions within our business, so this role will involve significant exposure to senior leaders. Working closely with the local marketing, pricing, and finance teams, the role will involve supporting key NPI’s, using the latest pricing research tools to support the price setting process. It is also critical to develop a robust price testing capability, putting data behind the price / volume trade discussion.

Pricing Process Manager


-Creates and drives the process of pricing Outdoor fixtures for GE Lighting through:
-understanding the cost structure and highlighting any neccesary corrections to cross-functions,
-refreshing configurator file with price targets and provides training to commercial team
-establish the process of tracking already approved deals (also for extended warranty)
-training the pricing team on cost and price calculation methods in order to provide consistent pricing strategy for the range
-Provides support to the pricing team in case of high value or more complex fixture requests
-clarifies Current related Indoor fixtures price, costs and margin targets in order to introduce new pricing structure. --provides training to pricing and commercial team on above products
-introduces the process of periodical reviews of the profitability levels on product/customer/regional level and works with cross-functions to identify actions needed in order to maintain expected margin levels
-Identifies process improvement opportunities within pricing department and also between pricing and cross-functions
-Supports new product introduction process by setting price guidelines according to strategy agreed with product management team
-Develops and implements forward costing models to include approaching cost out actions in order to accelerate LED product sales
-Coordinates and leads periodical refresh of target price master files for other selected product ranges


-University/college background (Financial is an advantage)
-Excellent English skills (written and verbal), other european language is an advantage
-Ability to create complex analytics in excel along with presenting the results in easy and understandable way to stakeholders
-Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex issues
-Creativity and ability to come up with solutions
-Ability to work under time pressure
-Courage to negotiate and present own ideas
-Commercial/Product Management background is an advantage
-Very strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
-Advanced MS Excel user, prefereably with VBA knowledge
