Project Manager

Fixed-term employment contract till 30.06.2019

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Overall coordination of the entire project partner team;
  • Ensuring the flow of information between the different units of the institution;
  • Responsible for the implementation of the thematic and administrative project tasks in line with the approved Application Form and implementation plan;
  • Supporting the public procurement procedures;
  • Ensuring the timely implementation of the project;
  • Semi-annual partner and Lead Partner reporting tasks: preparation and elaboration of partnerlLead Partner progress reports in close cooperation with the project financial manager;
  • Ensuring proper (paper- and electronic) project-documentation;
  • Cooperation with external project management team;


  • Higher education
  • At least 4 years of proven work experience, preferably in international programmes/projects;
  • Fluency in English (both spoken and written);
  • Excellent computer literacy with respect to MS Office;
  • Ability to work in team;
  • Ability to cope with stress situations;
  • Good planning and time management skills
  • Outstanding organization, communication and problem solving skills,
  • Reliability: accurate and precise independent work

Desirable qualifications:

  • Work experience related to financial administration of EU/international programmes /projects implementation;
  • Knowledge of the Danube Transnational Programme
  • Driving licence
