Real Estate Development Project Manager


  • Manage full scope of real estate development projects within the approved budget while focusing on customer needs
  • Manage project connected feasibility study and technical due diligent in preparation phase, providing high-quality data for budget approval
  • Set up project structure and project team in cooperation with the development leader
  • Manage tenders for all related external parties (eg. designer, technical supervision, cost management, direct suppliers, general contractors or sub-contractors)
  • Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
  • Managing permitting procedure; obtaining permits and licenses needed for the project, keeping contact with related authorities, municipalities and service providers
  • Plan and schedule constructional operations and closely monitor it until the project closure
  • Control and follow up the budget, reduce the risk of any additional spending
  • Handle project documentation, creating reports
  • Close and strong cooperation with the development team and other teams in the company (eg. leasing, finance, operations)
  • Project closure, project evaluation, taking care of archiving data based on internal guidelines


  • 5+ years of experience in construction/technical development project management, ideally in office, residential, or hospitality field
  • Technical university/college degree
  • At least intermediate English skills and native Hungarian language knowledge
  • Skilled in AutoCad, ArchiCad and Excel
  • Interest in sustainability driven development
  • Deep knowledge of the construction industry/market, design process and construction
  • Ability to manage BREEAM certified projects
  • Skilled in understanding design and construction drawings
  • Ability to develop cost estimates and schedules
  • Experience in greenfield site development is an advantage
  • Experience with road development and utility infrastructure is an advantage
  • Ability to lead multiple projects
  • Excellent communication, planning, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Able to establish and maintain close working relationships with management, colleagues, team members and other stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel to the sites based on the project’s needs (1-2 times a week), driving license
