About the role

As part of our in-house engineering team, the SAP B1 Developer is responsible for the development, optimisation, and continuous improvement of FINE+RARE’s SAP Business One (SAP B1) application. This role collaborates closely with the Lead SAP B1 Developer to customise, integrate, and enhance the system in line with our evolving business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing and analysing development requirements, providing effort estimates and timelines.
• Customising and enhancing SAP B1 modules to support business processes.
• Maintaining a clean, testable, secure and well-documented codebase.
• Collaborating with the Lead SAP Developer and cross-functional teams, including DevOps engineer, backend engineers and QA testers.
• Ensuring seamless data and process integrity between SAP B1 and our proprietary technology stack.
• Developing and supporting business-critical reports, dashboards, and tools.
• Providing ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for SAP B1 users.
• Participating in system upgrades, patching and performance tuning.

Skills & Experience 

• Proven experience developing and maintaining SAP B1 within a complex enterprise technology stack
• Solid knowledge and proficiency in SQL, HANA is a plus
• Experience in software development with strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with Produmex, Boyum B1UP, or similar SAP B1 add-ons.
• Knowledge of Azure, Power BI or GraphQL.
• Prior experience as a Senior Software Developer
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Working-level English required (written & verbal).
• Experience in integrating SAP B1 with custom backend or third-party systems.
• Genuine interest in technology, eagerness to learn and experiment.
